The home of the Italian Ambassador in Cape Town is a historic residence owned by the Italian State, built in the early twentieth century and surrounded by a magnificent garden of tropical plants and tall trees. Over recent years, various rooms in the villa have been refurbished by Ambassador Paolo Cuculi and his wife Oriana. Of these, the new Arclinea kitchen is one of the additions with the biggest impact.
“Thanks to the elegance of its lines,” explains the Ambassador’s wife, “and state-of-the-art technological solutions, this Arclinea kitchen has brought about an exceptional transformation, raising a merely functional area to the level of a real reception room, somewhere we like to show off to our always highly prestigious guests, and where we often like to entertain them now.”
Inside this old villa, the Arclinea kitchen adds all the appeal and exclusive elegance of Italian design, enriched by traditional Vietri tiles that bring a classic touch of colour to the whole room.
