D Studio, Copenhagen

D Studio Copenhagen, the first retail destination by Design Holding, officially opened on 23 June. It is located among the beautiful historical buildings in Holmes, an exclusive residential area and important creative district in the Danish capital. This innovative sales concept groups together Arclinea, B&B Italia, Maxalto, Azucena, Flos, and Louis Poulsen: the group’s prestigious, iconic contemporary furnishings and lighting brands.

Inside the 1,760 m² D Studio showroom, visitors can explore the excellence of the group’s Italian and Danish brands in big-impact synergic displays that emphasise the quality of both design and products, for an exclusive, truly unique experience.

D Studio has created new interactive customer engagement, a fusion of physical with digital. For private individuals, professionals, and the contract sector, this ‘phygital’ experience invites inspiration, interpretation, Xion, and design.

In the Arclinea section, the story of the Collection designed and coordinated by Antonio Citterio is told by three concepts that develop kitchens embodying the uniqueness of the product, materials, and manufacture. Together they communicate the brand’s world of values: working kitchens and functional organised work spaces for living in. 

CONVIVIUM + PRINCIPIA
The quintessential room for socialising with Convivium island featuring Convivium Elegant door in bronze PVD, worktop in Calacatta marble with drip guard, central accessorised channel, New Convivium hood in bronze PVD, and built-in Era table in NTF fumé oak. Wall of tall units with Principia door in NTF fumé oak, tall oven and fridge units, pantry and Vina refrigerated wine unit.

ITALIA
Compact and functional, the work island with Italia door and worktop in Vintage stainless steel with Era snack table, drawers and open unit in NTF black ash; Double Shelf in Vintage stainless steel. Wall of tall units with Italia door in grey Fenix NTM®, central MAC (Mini-Appliances-Container) between the tall oven and fridge units and the pantry.

THEA + MODUS SYSTEM
Thea Show kitchen island, door in hazelnut Fenix NTM®, Gola Profile in black aluminium, Waterfall worktop in QuarzoTech Venus, Canto snack bar in black PVD steel. Behind it, wall of wood panelling with Modus System doors in NTF black ash. Internal Wet kitchen with door in hazelnut Fenix NTM®, Gola Profile in black aluminium, cooking and washing zone with worktop and back panel in QuarzoTech Venus, integrated profile with sliding wire accessories and shelf hood in black PVD stainless steel; side oven and corner pantry tall units.

A fourth Arclinea display inside the immersive Louis Poulsen showroom. The informal elegance of the lounge area houses an Arclinea functioning kitchen that fully embodies a desire to create a socialising area for sharing, dialogue and inspiration.

LIGNUM ET LAPIS + NEW POCKET SYSTEM
Total white for the Lignum et Lapis socialising island, with door in white Kos Fenix NTM® and Italia integrated handle in nickel pearl, worktop and structure in matt QuarzoTech Venus, generous central hob with integrated hood. Same finishes for the wall with tall fridge and pantry units, which integrates two adjacent functional units behind New Pocket System doors: one for washing dishes, the other for prepping and washing, with tall unit for ovens and sink; worktops and back panel in stainless steel.
